last night's Superman at the Omni Theatre was disastrous. ahaha. the circular large-screen 3D effect thing shdnt be used for movies. everything turns out real big and circular. like when they do a close-up of Clarke's face, u'll realise "oh thats his nose" only a second later because it's so wide and distorted, and circular, so he has tilted nostrils..and when the action begins, u've got to turn yr head, fr left, to right, to left...all while straining yr neck looking up. they shd adjust the seats and not make them weirdly tilted at 150degrees or smthing. we still cant see the top-half of the screen, plus we cant crane our necks to see it since the seats are at max angle, so the only way was to shift our eyeballs to look up. if u get what i mean la. peripheral vision doesnt cover top and bottom. they might as well make it full flat out 180degrees like a bed, since we're staring at the ceiling anyway.
frankly the only part i liked was the Credit-portion at the begining of the show, where they had the flying-through-space sorta effect. not bad cos it kinda felt like u were moving along with it.. but then again, we had to turn our heads 180degrees to read the names.

anyway, thats boring stuff. i am a whiney kid. there were parts of the show i liked, like Kitty, acted by Parker Posey.(Kitty's the bimbotic lady carrying the shu dog; side-kick of Lex Luther) even the actress' name is cute, like an Enid Blyton character!

yay later on i'll be sitting the DHL airballoon thing. i really dont know what's its proper name. but everyone know what it is; a red DHL circle bobbing in the skies of the suntec-bugis area. $23 though. a little steep. i can have a dinner, coffeeclub, and a movie on that. but kaori really wanted it. and i guess its alright. im not afraid of heights at all..i like that feeling actually!

i havent been on msn properly these days. most of the time when im online, im online but i just dont sign in on msn. i rather like chatting on msn messenger, but the thing is, it never fails to eat my entire night away. if i sign on msn, the night is gone. u dont wanna leave once u start talking. it'll be fine if the com's in my room, so i can get abt doing other things..ah sigh but it isnt anymore. my parents thought my brother shdnt have his com in his room 2 years ago, when his grades were bad and he almost needed retaining. and my brother said "why jiarui can keep hers there!". and so mine's out too. and so is my sis' (my old com), and my mum's very old and untouched Dell. 4 coms cramming side-by-side. it looks quite crappy!

ive been complaining non-stop since the start of the entry. gosh thats gross. im the only one at home since morning. anw i better change and get gg. running late!
