i like old buildings and trees and flowers and dusts and insects.
i like it small and cosy and full of noise.
i like the hills and the canopy of trees, i like how their shadows fall and make pretty patterns on the grass, how the sunlight seeps through them and touches the habitats of the little insects living beneath some established network of say, ant colony of 20 years. haha.
i like having the knowledge that im at a place, where there's some kinda history. 20 years worth of varsity students have lived and breathed and laughed and cried here. haha. there's the blood-and-tears-sweat-and-rain feeling, haha, alright that's a little exaggerated.
i am such a romantic person, really.
most people i know like the newness of buildings. they like it huge, clean, neat, unoccupied. most like being the pioneer batch of the building cos they've got everything first-hand, sparkly and working. not just bits of half-working, breaking-down-anytime kinda equipment.
frankly, i hated the RJ campus when we shifted in. the campus i mean. luckily the people were such great fun. the building itself lacked character. it's like an office building or industrial factory.
white, green, cement. white, green, cement. cement, white. cement green. green green. white white.
cement cement cement.
did u like that?
the architecture of the building was beautiful, but it was like a shell; no amt of architecture can do what time does. if you walk in today, you'll see that's it's alot better. 3 years makes much of a difference. just give it awhile, the blood-and-tears feeling will come, the feeling of it being lived-in will come:)
i dont know if u get what i mean.
looney talking again, right?
haha.
oh yes, anw lately ive been immensely fascinated by the idea of time.
Time.
look at it. doesnt it fascinate you? No??
haha. well, sometime later. ive gotta run. starbucks again. they shd start a loyalty memebership. why's everyone meeting at starbucks. last time it was macs, now that we've older it's upgraded huh? then when we get old and retired, downgrade to kopitiam hmm? oh dear. it seems like its income-dependent.
it must be. thats common sense. what am i talking about.
